MY Cosmetic Obsessions
I absolutely LOVE this lipstick. It goes on velvety-smooth and is the perfect matte. It's long-lasting so you rarely need to re-apply throughout the day, unless you're like me, and love a rich pigment from several reapplications :)
It comes in a variety of shades and the tube is adorable.

Sephora Brand Foundation is one fo the first foundations I started using daily. It gives you a very natural and even skin tone with medium to full coverage. The 10 Hr Wear Perfection Foundation is the foundation I currently wear, and is the first liquid foundation I've ever used. It can be applied for medium to full coverage, depending on the brush you use. I personally use a flat-top kabuki bush, which will provide foull coverage. This foundation can be paired with any setting powder to mattify it. I've been pairing it with e.l.f. Translucent Setting Powder, which works amazing because it gives you an air brushed and refined look, for very little cost. I would defintely recommend this liquid to anyone who is curious about trying liquid foundation, without breaking the bank. This foundation comes in a variety of skin tones as well (I use #35 mat tan).
The powder counterpart of the liquid foundation is Sephora Collection 8 Hr Mattifying Compact Foundation. This is actually the very first foundation I started using from Sephora. It gives you a very natural and even-looking complexion. It is light-weight and can be applied with the sponge that is included with the compact or any other foundation brush/sponge. This can be used alone or paired with the liquid, which is personally how I wear it. Once I apply the liquid foundation, I apply the powder over top, to the more oily areas of my face, such as my nose, the center of my forehead, and also under my eyes to further conceal any dark marks. I then apply the setting powder all over for a complete, matte air brushed look. This helps to absorb oil and prevent build up on my face throughout the day, causing a greasy shine. I wear the same shade in the powder as the liquid foundation (#35 mat tan), but be warned, the powder is about a half shade lighter than the liquid in the same color.
These two foundations are around the same price and again are both really good foundations for anyone who is a beginner in the makeup world :)
