Hey flowers! With winter time being in full swing, it get pretty difficult for me to find a skin care routine that doesn't dry my face out. I struggle with oily/combination skin, especially on my nose, forehead and cheeks. This is one of the reasons why I stopped wearing makeup everyday, because before the day was over, my face ALWAYS ended up looking lie a greasy bell pepper - 😪😪 Yeah, I know ew right?
So yesterday I came across across this awesome skin care set at my job, by the brand Kiehl's. I've always heard really good things about their products, and seen great results online, but they are a bit pricy, which was what kind of always scared me away from trying them. But yesterday I decided to treat myself, and try something new. So I purchased their 3-Step Blue Herbal Acne treatment kit.
I absolutely love how thick and creamy the cleanser is, and a little truly goes a long way. It also comes with an astringent lotion, and an acne spot eraser cream that you apply 3 times a day. My skin has been looking pretty dull and dried out lately, so I'll update you guys on my results after I've been using this system a while. This can be purchased at Sephora, Kiehl's.com, or high end retailers that offer skin care, such as Saks Off 5th.
Clean & Clear has always been a trusted skin care brand for me, and I've been using this moisturizer for quite some time. It does pretty well with moisturizing my skin, and leaves you with a cool, tingling sensation after you apply it to a freshly washed face. This can be purchased at any drugstore, Walmart, Target, or even on Clean & Clear's website.
When I bought the Kiehl's acne kit, I also bought their Turmeric Cranberry Seed facial masque. Let me just say, after one use of this product, I was sold! I've watched plenty of Youtube tutorials on skin brightening, and turmeric has been a common ingredient in helping improve skin tone and natural glow. This mask also allows you to use less of the product to get maximum results, and it minimizes your pores fabulously! I used this right after I cleaned my face with the Blue Herbal cleanser, and then did the rest of the steps in order for the acne treatment. I plan to use this product maybe once or twice a week, depending on how my skin feels.
Definitely try these products out you guys, and let me know what you think in the comments!
